Dark Flowers

Hey Friends!

Welcome to my second attempt at posting about fashion. I don’t really know how my first attempt went. Not many people viewed or responded to it. Either they really weren’t interested in what I was wearing or they straight up didn’t like it lmao. But that’s okay, I won’t let that stop me from posting more outfits and looks that I like. It’s my blog, and I’ll post what I want!

When I put this outfit together in my head, I loved it. I loved it when I was wearing it. Seeing the outcome in pictures, I had a different reaction. In many ways, I still loved it. I love the floral tank from H&M, and those black chinos are a must have in my closet for casual looks. Perhaps I shouldn’t have worn those boots with the outfit. I think it’s the boots I’m not crazy about. Actually, I know it is. I love those boots (and they have been major clutch during the last few winters). They just didn’t work with the outfit. It was also my weight. But that’s a whole other issue that, for me, has nothing to do with the clothes. Seeing the pictures just reminded me that I have to really start taking my health, and my appearance, much more seriously.

Oh!! Just something cool to share with you all…I posted a picture of this outfit a couple of weeks ago on my IG page, @oaknmetal . Guess who liked and commented on it?? The official H&M Man account! Yes!! They commented they loved the picture and asked my permission to use the image for their marketing purposes!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?? Whether or not anything happens with that picture will never take away the awesome feeling I had (still have) that one of my favorite stores/companies actually noticed my picture and asked permission to use it! It gave me all the motivation to keep doing what I’m doing.
